On the open waters of Biscayne Bay, Miami Sunsets are amazing. Sails up engine off, non stop.
Doesn't have to be at sunset, anytime is fine for a three hour sail.
Can be combined with Skyline Night Cruise.
We will sail east across Biscayne Bay to Key Biscayne then out to the Atlantic Ocean where you will have a great view of Historic Cape Florida Lighthouse and the Stiltsville houses on the water. The Captain will narrate with the history of the Lighthouse, Stiltsville and many other interesting historical facts about the local area. Depending on the wind speed and direction trip will be pure sailing or motor sailing, non stop.
Can be combined with Sunset Sail.
Come see the best side of Miami like never before. Tour includes the sunset as we head for downtown, followed by spectacular up close views of the brightly lit night skyline at Brickell Ave., Bicentennial Park, Bayside Market Place, Port of Miami, American Airlines Arena, Museum Park, Miami River entrance, and back out on the Bay as we return to Coconut Grove. Motoring, non stop.
Because some of our cruises are destination specific in many cases it is required to motor or motor sail to complete the tour in the allotted time. The pure sail charter is for those most interested in setting the sails and shutting down the engine for the duration without a destination in mind. We will motor to the end of the channel, immediately set the sails, shut down the engine, then sail on the bay on a course favorable to the winds and return to the channel entrance under sail. Non Stop.
A great tour of the sights on Biscayne Bay including views of Downtown, Key Biscayne mansions, beautiful Cape Florida Light House built in 1825 and the Stiltsville Houses out on the water used during prohibition as speakeasies and bootlegger rendezvous points. Depending on wind speed and direction portions of cruise will be motor sailing.
Can be done non stop or with a stop to swim will cut back on the sight seeing. See it all and stop to swim by adding one hour for 100.00.
Includes Biscayne Bay tour plus a 2-3 hour stop in the beautiful Key Biscayne anchorage for time in the water and a Bar-B-Que.
The local reefs range in depth from 15 to 30 feet where you can see breathtaking colors in the clear water. Sponges of every color are complimented by patches of living coral, and the reefs are teeming with juvenile tropical fish in the spring and summer. There are many larger fish, including parrotfish, angelfish, grouper, barracuda, puffer fish, lizard fish, hogfish and turtles. Two hours en route, two hours on the reef, two hours return. Snorkel gear included. No Bar-b-Que. Wind must be below 10 knots otherwise it is too rough offshore at the reef. To make good time we motor to the reef and if the winds are favorable we sail back.
Sail, see the sights, anchor, swim, bar-b-que, sunbathe, rest, relax with a cool drink in hand and all with beautiful Biscayne Bay views.
